Ola Ajayi is an expert product consultant and product leader, a tech mentor, a global speaker, and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advocate.

She’s a certified product management and data integration professional with certification from industry leaders like IBM, CCNA, Cisco, and Microsoft. Her certification technology stack includes database administration (Microsoft), business intelligence analytics (Microsoft), CompTIA project+ (CompTIA), Advanced Product Management Certificate (Product Faculty) Advanced Growth Strategy (Reforge) and predictive analytics (IBM).

She has led several tech teams through the planning, developing, and deploying stages of product solutions that meet customers’ needs. Some of such notable projects were at Bloc, Longview and currently SSENSE.

Ola Ajayi has a passion for simplifying complex ideas as the basis of real human transformation. She speaks on product management, data integration, EDI in the tech ecosystem, and transitioning to tech for women.

Ola Ajayi possesses over a decade of experience in leadership, change process management, diversity, Equity, and inclusion within the global tech ecosystem.

Her Tech journey dates back to Salem University, where she gained her Bachelor of applied sciences (BASc) in information technology. A feat that launched her into the tech field and set the stage for rapid growth.

She went further to complete a course on database administration, business intelligence analytics, and predictive analytics from Bow Valley College located in Canada.

Ola Ajayi’s Work and Social Impact on Tech

In 2018, While leading the team as a software engineer at Bloc, Ajayi worked with the integration team to build and deploy efficient APIs for online payment platforms using Python.

She has also worked with tech-focused diverse teams & Organizations such as Longview systems (2020), Concentrix(2019), and Bloc(2018), where she’s built on her hands-on experience in product management, growth strategy, and operational data management.

She currently holds the position of product leader at SSENSE, where she leads cross-functional teams to build successful, digitally transformed e-commerce tech Platforms. Her work at SSENSE helps to increase product efficiency, create new stakeholders engagement and boost business growth and revenue

As a tech product consultant, she enjoys working with ambitious start-ups through strategy development and solutions to build systems that bridge the gap between business, customers, and tech solutions that offer. She works with forward-thinking and performance-driven teams in the eCommerce tech industry made up of technical experts to solve complex user problems by developing valuable products that meet customer requirements and facilitate profitable long-term results.

Ola Ajayi as a Public speaker, leader, and Tech Mentor

As a public speaker and mentor for women in tech, She merges her unique leadership traits and tech expertise in guiding women and young adults in the POC community on how to start and grow their career in tech industry towards achieving their wildest dreams.

Her primary focus areas include growth strategy development, data integration & Management, product management, tech consulting, and Tech mentoring revolving around Equity, diversity, and inclusion in the tech industry.

She also volunteered as a Vice president of Education for Toastmasters International, one of the world’s top leadership and communication brands that teaches communication and leadership skills through a global network of hubs. She also gives back to the community by coaching and mentoring tech professionals at ChicGeek and Black Professionals Canada teaching them strategies to fast track career growth.

Ola Ajayi has mastered the art of finding balance as a devoted mother and growing as a career woman. She looks towards a future of being a product leader that will bring about strategic guidance and determination and make a significant impact.
